Return Policy

At SolarGear, your satisfaction is important to us. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help with the following return guidelines:

Standard Returns

We gladly accept most unused and unopened merchandise for a full refund within 30 days of purchase but are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original, clean packaging

  • You must include the original proof of purchase or receipt

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs to the closes warehouse in their location

  • Obtain a return authorization from SolarGear before sending back the product. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will NOT be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note the following exceptions to our return policy:

  • Special-order equipment is non-returnable

  • Batteries of any kind are non-refundable/non-returnable
    This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Flooded lead-acid batteries

    • Sealed AGM batteries

    • LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries

    • *There are no exceptions

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Take note of any damage on the Bill Of Lading and take photo's of the damage.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
